"Flash" review: Did the team make a plan for DeVoe? -Buddy TV

With the help of Gypsy, the team tried to prevent DeVoe from getting everything needed for the Enlightenment in the episode of The Flash. However, her presence means that Cisco needs to face his future. Will he accept the job of a saboteur? Can he and Gypsy continue their (very) long-distance relationship?

Elsewhere in "So She Is", Harry struggled to lose his wisdom, but even with more bad news, he didn't lose all hope. Caitlin may be the same, she is determined to restore her cold side, even if it means putting herself in danger.

Flash: Which character in "Furious Rogue" messed up the most? >>>

Flashback starts from the moment they met, let us understand the relationship between Marlize and Clifford DeVoe. Eight years ago, when he was arguing about the pitfalls of technology and how it can be used to harm humans, he placed her in front of a student hall at Oxford University. She even called herself "stupid" for agreeing to date him, but she liked him to challenge her.

He won her and they even moved in together. However, when she opened the package, she found and read his diary. He talked about the purification of the material world and human consciousness (basically a lobectomy), reactivating the human brain. He believes that technology is killing them. She went out.

She went to Kenya, where she created a water purifier. He called her and tried to persuade her to go home. He told her that without her, he was nothing. She refused, but when her camp was attacked by purifiers and dozens of people died, he rushed to her worriedly. Then she told him that he was right, technology had become a cancer. She admitted that when she read his diary for the first time, she saw the truth in his article, but she was scared. She is no longer, and believes that he can "inspire" mankind.

Barry Allen, The Flash, and... the couple therapist?

Caitlin tried to bring the Frost Killer out with the help of Cisco's explosion, but was unsuccessful. When Harry forgot that there was no dark matter in her system, he was forced to confess his lost wisdom. They will solve the problem together, and others promise him, although no one knows how he will help him.

DeVoe and Marlize took the next step towards the Enlightenment, stealing Alloy 1771 (a solar panel that uses electricity at 400% efficiency) from Vandermeer Steel. When a guard grabbed them, DeVoe told him to aim the gun at himself even though Marlize tried to stop him.

Barry wants Cisco to use gunshots to figure out why DeVoe wants the alloy, but Cisco doesn't want to be hit on the wall again. He needs to double his power. Barry suggested seeking help from Gypsy, but Cisco tried to find excuses because he had not yet made a decision on Breacher's work.

However, they need to figure out DeVoe's next move, which means bringing her in. They felt and saw a dock and a container together. But when they and Barry got there, they were already too late. DeVoe had what he needed, but they saw the wrong container. The subsequent dispute between Cisco and Gypsy about not being on the same page and their lack of clarity led Barry to hear about the job offer.

Then Barry himself tried to solve the problem between Cisco and Gypsy because he needed them to beat DeVoe on the same page. He even listed their problems for them: she was upset that it took him too long to decide to work, and he was worried about giving up the team. When there are reports of two more break-ins by technology manufacturers, they must cheer up and hope to figure out what DeVoe is building. However, this time, both of them were bombed back.

It turns out that Cisco and Gypsy agree on work (neither want him to accept it), but they have no opinion on their relationship. He wanted more than just a breakthrough to meet her and knowing that there was a countdown before one of them had to leave. He told her that he didn't want her to clean up and move to his earth, but he wanted to know if what they had was enough to meet her needs. She said yes.

Thanks to Iris' suggestion to let the couple solve the problem by themselves, together or separately, Barry realized that DeVoe was not doing one thing. For one purpose, he is building multiple satellites that work together (but still separate). He will need a quantum computer, and Mercury Labs just put one of the systems on the Internet. They knew where he was going next.

Barry rushed in to knock Dvor back, and Cisco caught Marlize who was packing. Barry threw lightning at Clifford, and Gypsy bombed him when they were about to handcuff him. However, Mariz was worried about her husband, fought back and knocked Cisco down. Gypsy helped him, which gave DeVoe a chance to repel them all.

Caitlin froze him with a cold gun. However, Devo, who uses sound waves to release herself, knows what she is doing: trying to scare herself into being a frost killer. He decided to help by killing the person she cared about: the Gypsy.

He can't kill Barry yet, he revealed. His enlightenment plan requires his further participation. He began to suffocate the Gypsies, and Marlize again protested that he had murdered an innocent person. She told him to remember who he was, and he finally let go of the Gypsy. Clifford and Marlize ran away with what they needed.

What plans does DeVoe have? Harry and Cecil figured it out, thanks to her using her power to read his thoughts and record his thoughts before they disappeared. (The more he uses the brain, the sooner he loses it, he told her earlier in the episode.) Each of DeVoe's systems redirects concentrated dark matter to be toxic enough to make everyone's brain restart Back to the level of simplified state, just like Harry's brain. DeVoe wants to eliminate the wisdom of everyone on the planet.

Cisco took the Gypsies back to Earth 19 to say goodbye. A relationship can only last so long on earth. Later, during Cecile's baby shower, Barry told him that they did the right thing, but this did not reduce Cisco's damage.

At the same time, Marlize finally did what she should have done forever in those flashbacks and left DeVoe. She even used his chair to do this, telling him that her husband was dead, and calling him the thinker's first victim.

Finally, the mysterious girl came back, this time during the baby shower, with a diaper bag as a gift. She also gave us Cecile's deadline (21 days!) and said that the gift must come from someone who understands that time is precious. However, when she saw Iris, she quickly left. Then we saw her speed drop and her lightning was yellow and purple. She must be the future daughter of West Allen, right?

Are you more convinced than ever that the mysterious girl is the future daughter of Barry and Iris? Do you think Caitlin will successfully retrieve the Frost Killer? What do you think of Devo's plan? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
