These 2021 water quality reports are prepared for each zip code and are the results of tests conducted by nearly 50,000 local water companies in each state. To know the status of your water, just visit their website ewg.org/tapwater to get your water quality report.

Every zip code in the U.S. is included in the report, which searches for all possible pollutants and pollutants that your local water company finds in its tap water that are above the federal and state guidelines .

This is only the first step in the process. Once you understand the chemicals that may be present in the water, you can decide the next steps you must take to ensure that you always drink safe water from the tap.
