He also gave P500,000 to the municipal government of San Ricardo through Mayor Roy Salinas.

Aside from cash aid, the alliance of Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Carpio donated 77 sets of solar panels and LED flashlights for the residents who still have no electricity.

The presidential aspirant also flew to Surigao del Norte in Mindanao. He was joined by Duterte-Carpio.

The duo handed P500,000 cash assistance to the provincial government through 2nd District Rep. Ace Barbers and General Luna town Mayor Cecilia Rusillon.

Several sacks of rice and other relief goods, solar panels, 10 sets of water bucket filters and water purifier systems were also handed to the provincial government.

Marcos Jr. and Duterte-Caprio then went to Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental to check on the residents’ situation. The duo donated P1.5 million cash aid to the provincial government and to the local government of Bayawan City.

Marcos said he also plans to return to the province to bring construction materials for those displaced by “Odette.”
